Regional Stay Home Order Ends Effective January 25, 2021

The State of California has ended the Regional Stay Home Order for all regions, including San Joaquin Valley. San Joaquin County will return to the Purple Tier 1, which is widespread.

Vaccinations

The State of California is in the process of rolling out vaccines to all 58 counties. The first vaccines have arrived in San Joaquin County and those who are scheduled for vaccinations in Phase 1A have begun to receive vaccinations, which includes those in healthcare-related occupations, those supporting healthcare, and first responders. The State has also authorized vaccinations to be provided to those in Phase 1B, which includes those who are age 65 or over.

City Public Counters and Offices Closed to In-Person ServicesEffective December 28, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 surge, escalation in the number of cases, and spread resulting in a Regional Stay Home Order for San Joaquin Valley, the City of Stockton will close public offices and counters to in-person public access, effective Monday, December 28, 2020.

All departments will be available by telephone, email, and through online services, during regularly scheduled business hours.

Controlling the Spread of COVID-19

To slow the spread of the virus, please continue to:

  • Wear a face covering when in public;
    • CDPH Guidance on the Use of Face Coverings Effective November 16, 2020
  • Wash your hands regularly - with soap and water;
  • Covering coughs and sneezes (into elbow, not hands);
  • Physically distancing, of at least 6 feet, from those who are not members of your household;
  • Do not mix or gather with people outside of your household; and
  • Get a Flu shot!
